Our Services

Acupuncture is a healing technique that has been utilized for thousands of years, originating in ancient China. Practitioners stimulate specific points in the body through the insertion of needles to alleviate symptoms. Results from a number of meta-analysis studies show that acupuncture helps reduce chronic and wide-ranging types of pain.

The acupuncturists at the Pellegrino Healing Center use a unique Japanese style designed by world renowned Master Kiiko Matsumoto in combination with Traditional Chinese Medicine, 5 Element, and Trigger Point Acupuncture. Palpation and instant feedback from the patient and practitioner are used through reflections and release techniques.

Specific treatment modalities and acupuncture points are tailored to each patient, addressing specific concerns and helping bring the body back into balance.

Qigong is a form of gentle exercise that works as a holistic system of coordinated body posture and movement, breathing, and meditation. Key benefits include enhanced mental clarity, strengthened internal organs, and fortified immune system. Each series of movements stimulates the flow of vital energy, also called qi. When qi is moving better, the blood circulation improves, the muscles and the tendons are relaxed, and the mental state is balanced.

A number of breathing, visualization, and stretching techniques are offered through our meditation and yoga services. While meditation and yoga are offered as separate entities, they are often offered together. Meditation techniques will often start off or conclude a yoga class or will also be in combination with other services listed above. Private and group meditation and yoga sessions are available in our yoga studio as well as our private consultation rooms.

Our Swedish and Deep tissue massages offer patients feel good sensations (with varying pressures and styles) while improving circulation, relieving muscle tension, and reducing a variety of symptoms related to stress and anxiety. Essential oils, calming music, and comforting amenities such as hot tea and herbs are included with our massage services.

Our Tibetan Foot Soaks are designed to help with nerve pain/neuropathies (e.g. feet, gout, arthritis). While patients are soaking their feet in a warm and relaxing foot bath, the soak is gearing down on nerve pain. The ingredients in the foot soak are absorbed through the feet and assist with circulation and pain relief throughout the entire body. Major benefits include increased blood flow, increased oxygen in the blood, reduced inflammation, immune system stimulation, and overall relief from chronic aches and pains.
